We recently headed into the rehearsal rooms of
the Arcola Theatre & Wildcard Studios for an R&D of the play SMOKE by Kim Davies, funded by
Arts Council England. The play explores BDSM practice, consent, and sexual violence. Directed by Polina Kalinina & Júlia Levai.
3 hearts canvas creates high quality,
socially-conscious work pushing creative boundaries within the entertainment industry.
We are passionate about treating artists with respect, paying freelancers fairly for their work, and championing teams and projects which reflect the diverse fabric of the communities that make the UK thrive. We are inspired by Arts Council England's brilliant Creative Case for Diversity initiative.
We use sustainable practices wherever possible with a minimal ecological footprint, in partnership with the urgent Green Theatre plan.
We work to excavate the '3 hearts' of theatre, film, and music to bring about provocative, challenging, high quality entertainment with a strong social responsibility and community backbone.
Our work has been supported by Arts Council England and The Carne Trust, and been seen at theatres including Yard Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, Arcola Theatre, and Park Theatre.
